Have you experienced any of the following?
You might have noticed that your anxious thoughts can spiral off on their own. As a result, you feel hopeless or depressed when thinking about certain situations. But, you are not alone in this. Our approach to online counseling for anxiety focuses on the underlying causes of your anxiety. We often think that we know why we are anxious in the moment. But, we don’t realize that we’ve spent a lifetime creating unhelpful thought processes. In the end, these only help us avoid the source of our anxiety.
My Approach Working Alongside You To Reduce Anxiety Symptoms:
You will feel safe and supported—
Anxiety can make you feel like your mind is always racing, like you're constantly anticipating the next thing to go wrong even when everything seems fine on the outside. That’s why my approach to treating anxiety starts with helping you feel grounded and emotionally safe during our therapy sessions. I work from a client-centered lens, taking time to really get to know you—your life experiences, your current stressors, and how anxiety tends to show up in your day-to-day. Whether it’s panic attacks, racing thoughts, difficulty sleeping, or the feeling that you always have to “do more” just to stay afloat, we’ll unpack it all together. This is your space to pause, breathe, and begin to feel some relief.
You can slow down and breathe—
Do you constantly feel “on edge,” like your body and brain are stuck in overdrive? Do you overthink everything—your relationships, your decisions, your future—and yet still feel like you’re falling behind? Maybe your anxiety is invisible to others because you’re high-achieving, organized, or always “on”—but inside, you feel overwhelmed, scattered, and exhausted. This is what high-functioning anxiety often looks like, and you are not alone. I specialize in helping people like you: the ones who keep it together on the outside but are silently struggling within. In therapy, you don’t have to perform or overexplain—we’ll work together to identify the thought patterns and physical symptoms that anxiety creates, and start building realistic tools to help you feel calmer and more in control.
You will learn to find ease and clarity—
As we work together, my goal is to help you quiet the inner chaos and create more space for calm, clarity, and confidence. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), grounding techniques, and mindfulness to reduce anxiety symptoms in a way that feels sustainable—not overwhelming. Therapy is not about “fixing” you—because you’re not broken. It’s about helping you better understand your anxiety, change your relationship with it, and feel more equipped to handle life with more ease and self-compassion. You’ll gain insight, tools, and a deeper connection to yourself—one step at a time.
This will not be forever—
Therapy is a process, and I’m here to walk beside you at a pace that feels right. Over time, we’ll collaborate to track your progress and decide together when you feel more grounded and ready to navigate life with less anxiety. My goal is never to keep you in therapy forever—but to empower you with the tools you need to manage your anxiety even after therapy ends. Whether you stay in therapy for a season or return during tougher times, know that your healing journey is valid and fully your own.
“What can I expect in sessions?”
Some days we’ll explore the deeper roots of your anxiety, and some days we’ll focus on the tools to help you feel better right now. You may cry, you may laugh (we need both!), and you may feel things you didn’t know were there—but all of it is welcome. The goal is to reduce the power anxiety has over you and increase the confidence you have within you. You deserve peace—not perfection—and therapy is a space to begin that journey.
What to Expect in Your First Session with Me?
The first session is all about connection. I know how important it is to feel comfortable and safe when opening up—especially about things that may be difficult to talk about. My goal is to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can begin to process what’s really going on beneath the surface. During our time together, we’ll go over your intake paperwork, answer any questions you might have, and talk through what brought you to therapy. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or just feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, you’ll have the space to share at your own pace—no pressure, no rush.
We’ll also explore your current symptoms and stressors and begin identifying what you’d like to work on in therapy. This is a collaborative process, so we’ll work together to create a treatment plan that reflects your unique needs and goals. You don't have to have everything figured out—I’ll help you clarify what feels most important to you right now and support you in moving forward with intention and care.
Creating a Clear Path Forward—
Before we wrap up our first session, I’ll talk you through the treatment plan so you know exactly what we’ll be working on and how. I’ll always make sure your voice is part of the process—therapy isn’t something I do to you, it’s something we do together. This plan will help guide our work and give us a helpful reference point to track progress and check in along the way. We might discuss things like: How often do sessions make sense for your schedule and goals? Are symptoms improving? What tools and strategies are helping the most?
At the end of our session, you’ll have the option to schedule your next appointment, and I’ll also offer any helpful resources that might support your growth outside of therapy—whether that’s a book, video, article, or a simple grounding exercise to try between sessions.
You don’t have to navigate this alone. We’ll move at your pace and build something meaningful, together.
Think About This…
Think about all of the things you’ve wanted to try to achieve in life but somehow convinced yourself that you were not worthy. Think about all of the silent individuals around you (some that you may not even be aware of) who need your true, authentic self to shine in order to give them the hope and motivation to achieve their dreams.
“The graveyard is the richest place on earth, because it is here that you will find all the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled, the books that were never written, the songs that were never sung, the inventions that were never shared, the cures that were never discovered, all because someone was too afraid to take that first step, keep with the problem, or determined to carry out their dream.”
Are you ready to stop allowing your anxious thoughts to control your life?
Are you ready to work through some past traumas that are keeping you stuck?
Have you been looking for a safe space to process this with an understanding and non-judgemental therapist?
