The crying doesn’t stop, which makes me want to stay away from others.
I feel gut-wrenching pain, but no one understands.
My life and the world around me are dark. I hate it, but I can’t change it.
Do these thoughts often enter your mind?

My Approach Working Alongside You To Reduce Depression Symptoms:
You will feel heard—
I believe that everyone needs a safe space to process, feel heard, seen, and understood. That is why my approach to working with you to treat depression starts by getting to know who you are first. I do my very best at making sure that you feel comfortable during our therapy sessions through my client-centered approach in therapy. Getting to know you includes understanding your experiences, current stressors, beliefs, and goals for your future (even if you may not know what the answers are yet). Together, we will develop goals for decreasing symptoms of depression that are often hidden underneath.
You can let your mask down—
Are you good at masking your symptoms? Do you know how to perform at such a high level that others would never guess that you are truly depressed? You might be the go-to person at work, the reliable friend, the one who “has it all together” but deep down, you're exhausted. You feel numb, disconnected, or overwhelmed, even when you're smiling on the outside. This is what high-functioning depression can look like, and it’s more common than you think. In my work, I specialize in helping those who are managing careers, relationships, and responsibilities while silently struggling with symptoms that are easy to hide but heavy to carry. Whether it’s chronic fatigue, trouble finding joy in things you used to love, or a constant inner critic that won’t quiet down, I create a space where you don’t have to pretend. Together, we can get to the root of it and start building tools to help you feel more like yourself without the mask.
You will learn to find yourself—
Through our work together, my goal is to help you reconnect with yourself; not just the version you show to the world, but the real you underneath the pressure and emotional weight. Using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and person-centered techniques, we’ll work to reduce the symptoms of depression that are affecting your energy, focus, and ability to enjoy life. Therapy isn't about quick fixes it's about steady, sustainable healing. I’ll always do my very best to meet you where you are and help guide you at a pace that feels right for you. This is to help you break free from survival mode and rediscover the clarity, calm, and confidence that’s been buried beneath the surface. You don’t have to go through this alone and you don’t have to keep pretending everything’s fine.
This will not be forever—
Over time, we will continue to work together based on your timing. As your mental health professional I will give you the resources to cope with your feelings of sadness and isolation in healthier ways while also challenging you towards personal growth and change to reduce your depression symptoms. Therapy with me is a collaborative process where we both, together as a team will decide when you’ve reached your therapy goals and have seen the best parts of yourself shine through. You know yourself best. So, when you feel that you have made the most progress and are ready to end therapy we will do so. Therapy doesn’t have to be forever if you don’t want it to. There are seasons for therapy and seasons for a break from therapy and both are ok!
“How will I feel after therapy?”
Some sessions you may ugly cry (that’s ok, I won’t tell! Get the Kleenex if needed!) and we will also laugh, as laughter is good for the soul. Some sessions will be harder than others. We are going to be talking about the difficult parts of life. But, the goal is to discuss it in the open so that you can process, heal, and grow. The goal is to move through and past this difficult time, not stay there.
